ABOUT GREENWEB

GreenWeb is a collective created to combat the declining biodiversity of plants and insects, within the urban sprawl of FONTANA, CA. Starting in 2023, I began growing native plants to give away to the local community. It was difficult to get peoples attention despite the “Free Plants” sign. With a growing inventory of plants, I began asking neighbors if I could plant a native garden in their sidewalk strip. In January of 2025, I completed the first project! It left me with the hope that we could create more native gardens to support native wildlife. Which is why I am seeking homeowners who would like to create a native garden! Visit the Contact page to reach out.

Who Am I?

Israel Ulloa

My name is Israel Ulloa. I am a resident of Fontana, CA. I currently work for the Claremont Botanic Garden in Claremont. After three years, I have learned how to care for, propagate, and landscape with native plants. My goal for creating Greenweb is to foster community development with a focus on Native flora. I care deeply about the increasing rate of extinction of plants, animals, and insects. I hope through Greenweb, I can reach others who feel the same.
